For a Reel link, Asave extracts the audio heard in that video. For an Instagram music or original-audio page, it uses the public sound asset Instagram provides or a public Reel using that sound. Licensed, private, deleted, or restricted tracks may not be downloadable.

Instagram audio download by link
An audio download by link avoids screen recording and the background noise, notifications, or quality loss it can introduce. Copy a supported public Instagram URL, paste it above, and save the soundtrack in your browser.
A Reel URL identifies one specific video and its mixed audio. A reels/audio URL identifies a shared sound that may appear across many Reels. Asave recognizes both formats and chooses the appropriate download flow.
Instagram music download online—without an app
The online tool works in Chrome, Safari, Edge, and other modern browsers, so you do not need to install an Instagram music download app. This also avoids giving an unknown application access to your account.
Reels can contain songs, voiceovers, podcast clips, or original sounds. Availability still depends on what Instagram exposes publicly; some licensed music is restricted and private posts cannot be accessed.
How to copy an Instagram audio download link
For audio from one Reel, open the Reel in Instagram, tap Share, and choose Copy link. The copied address normally contains /reel/. Paste that full link into Asave.
For the shared sound page, tap the song or original-audio title at the bottom of the Reel. On the audio page, use Share → Copy link. That address contains /reels/audio/ followed by a numeric audio ID.
Instagram audio download: M4A or MP3?
Asave saves Instagram audio as M4A rather than relabeling it as MP3. Instagram video commonly carries AAC audio in an MP4 container, and M4A keeps that stream without an unnecessary lossy MP3 conversion.
M4A plays in current Android, iPhone, Windows, and macOS apps. If a specific editor only accepts MP3, convert the downloaded M4A locally after saving it; converting cannot improve the original sound quality.
